About

I’m currently an MSc student within the Institute of Archaeology at University College London (UCL). My primary research interests combine both Palaeolithic archaeology and palaeoanthropology with experimental archaeology. It’s my opinion that the three of these can be utilised in a complimentary fashion so as to further our understanding of both the physical and cultural evolution of the hominin lineage. Understandably, this tends to focus attention on the evolution of the upper limb and, specifically, the grasping capabilities of the hand; the possible applications of this approach are however significantly wider.
