About

Laura is a doctoral candidate at the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies, UCL. Her current research examines the intersections of the physical structure of urban form and its social and economic activity, focusing on how the street network is understood through the analytical descriptions of urban morphology together with the spatial accessibility it affords. Her research interests concerns a multi-disciplinary approach to architecture at all scales, by means of understanding architectural and urban form through the characteristics of movement, use and the social attributes associated with the spatial layout. Her general interests also include the intersecting areas of cultural theory and design practice for narrative environments, focusing on contemporary art and performing arts.
