I am currently an Mphil/Phd Candidate in Reception Studies and Anthropology at University College London, UK (2011).
I have a BA and MA in Media and Communication from the University of Bologna (2007) and an MA in Book Publishing Industry from Bologna's Institute of Humanistic Studies (2010).
My current interests include: Cultural Studies and Anthropology; Greek Mythology and the Reception of Classics; Media and Game Studies; Leisure and Festivities; Youth Subcultures; Gender and Porn Studies.
In the past I have been involved in research concerning Semiotics, Authorship, Media and Game Studies.
I am currently the editor-in-chief of independent magazine 'Gorgòn' and game studies Journal 'GAME - Games as Art, Media, Entertainment'. I write for Italian cinema journal 'Segnocinema'.
