Thesis Title: Boredom and the technology of boredom in rural Romania

I am actually starting to write-up my ethnography for the thesis.
I have been conducting anthropologcal fieldwork in south-east Romania for about 14 months during 2009/10. I was mainly interested in boredom in relation to technology use and consumption. However, in the field my research turned into a more conventional ethnography dealing with notions such as peasantness, modernity, consciousness, fairness, and of course boredom.
