About
Charles Clarke was born and raised in Co. Longford, in the Republic of Ireland. He always had an interest in the past often watching Time Team and a myriad of documentaries on topics from archaeology to geology.
In 2007, he began studying a BSc. in applied archaeology in the Department of Science, Institute of Technology Sligo, Republic of Ireland providing him with the transferable skills needed to work in the commercial archaeological industry. The course also sought to give the student an introduction to many aspects of archaeology. From Mesolithic Ireland & Europe to archaeological geophysical surveying techniques. In November 2011, he graduated with a Second Class Honours.
It was during first year that he became fascinated with human origins. There was one reconstruction of H. erectus that really made an impression on him and from then on he often went on www.youtube.com to watch videos about human evolution. By fourth year, he considered a career in palaeoanthropology.
In January 2011, he applied for a place on the M.Sc. in palaeoanthropology and palaeolithic archaeology, Institute of Archaeology, University College London. The course will has, thus far provided him with a direction in human evolutionary studies.
His current interests are wide ranging and varied, from the debate regarding speciosity of dawn of the genus "Homo" to the mystery surrounding the origin of primates in the late Palaeocene/ early Eocene.
Outside of academia, he maintains a youtube channel called "ArchaeomoonwalkerPro"

This channel was initially established to keep the public informed on the work conducted in human evolutionary studies, but presently he is focusing upon his masters.
